With 15 years of experience in the human services field, including 12 years in direct care, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Her master’s degree in psychology enhances her ability to connect with and support those in need.
For the past two years, she has focused her efforts on working with victims of violence, drawing on her own journey as a survivor of domestic violence over 20 years ago. This personal history fuels her passion for helping others find their voices and reclaim their lives. As an advocate for victims of violence and sex trafficking, she is committed to raising awareness and providing essential resources for healing.
In addition to her advocacy, she serves as a teacher of domestic violence prevention, equipping individuals and communities with vital knowledge to foster safety and awareness. Her resourcefulness allows her to connect those in crisis with the tools they need to rebuild their lives.

Nicole Hubbard, also known as Nikki, has been in the human services field for over 10 years, holding various titles and roles, including being part of the first crisis network with Sheppard Pratt. She has gone above and beyond for the company where she started this leg of her life, becoming a voice for those enduring domestic violence. Nicole shows them they can have more, be more, and rise above their circumstances.

Delvonda Smith is a powerhouse in the human services and domestic violence fields, with over 30 years of experience. As CEO of Dream Differed Life Coaching and founder of the Still I Rise Mentoring Program, she’s made it her mission to uplift women who have faced homelessness and trauma, instilling in them the belief that they are more than their circumstances. Delvonda’s commitment to healing extends to her work with domestic violence survivors, where her phased case management approach and trauma-informed expertise shine.
Delvonda Consults and trains for various domestic violence organizations in and outside of Maryland. She was a featured presenter for this years MNADV Conference 2024 held this past summer in Annapolis Maryland.
She’s actively involved in local and national initiatives and is spearheading the New Journey Network, a 50-state support system for women escaping violence, providing them a path to safety akin to an underground railroad. Delvonda’s grit, compassion, and drive continue to remove barriers, paving the way for clients to reclaim their power and achieve their goals.
